Estimate your Commission Price
When choosing a size and detail level for a commission painting, there are three factors you should consider.
1. The purpose or location of the painting is important. For instance, if the painting will be a focal point in a large living room, opting for a larger size with more intricate details is advisable to create a captivating visual impact.
2. The subject matter and style of the artwork should be taken into account. A realistic portrait might require a higher level of detail, while a more abstract piece can still capture attention with a smaller size and minimal details.
3. Your budget and timeline also plays a role, as larger paintings with more detail may involve more time and cost. The size and detail level of a commission painting should align with your desired design but should also be giving within a reasonable time frame for completion.
I'd be more than happy to assist you with narrowing down what size and details would capture your custom painting perfectly for your space and inspiration.
